Energy Savings Certificates
NSW Energy Savings Scheme
The Energy Savings Scheme is a government initiative to reduce electricity consumption in NSW by offering financial incentives for businesses to implement energy efficiency programs.
Energy Conservation is an Accredited Certificate Provider, and we work with many clients to provide comprehensive advice and documentation necessary to benefit from the scheme.
We have five methods for providing certificates:
- Commercial lighting upgrades
- NABERS baseline and project impact assessment measurement
- Verification for HVAC, refrigeration and compressed air systems
- Installation of high efficiency appliances for businesses
- Public street lighting upgrades
We work with equipment and service purchasers, installers and suppliers to make the ESC creation process streamlined and stress-free, whilst meeting the rigorous audit and compliance standards, which govern the Energy Saving Scheme.
We are currently among the top ten creators of Energy Saving Certificates in NSW and our fees for these services are sourced from a portion of ESC value rather than an up-front payment.

Victorian Energy uPGRADES
Energy Conservation is also an Accredited Person under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program. We are able to provide Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) on behalf of equipment suppliers, installers and users. We can then arrange the sale of the VEECS and pay the proceeds to our partners, deducting registration and service fees.

Other funding (NSW)
NSW Office of Environment & Heritage and City of Sydney have funding available to contribute to energy audits and project implementation of energy efficiency measures. Projects are considered on a case-by-case basis. Energy Conservation can review your situation and assist you to apply for funding if your project has potential to participate in these programs.
