ONLINE energy audit for business

Basic Energy Audits - BusinessAn ONLINE energy audit can show you how to save up to 50%on your electricity and gas bills (i.e. energy bills).

The ONLINE energy audit is done entirely via online/fax/postal correspondence. Therefore, due to the low expenses involved, this generally suits business managers wanting a quick & economical, yet professional service. However:

an online audit also suits business managers who do not want close inspections by outside persons onsite (e.g. due to confidential work processes etc), or

an online audit also suits businesses from remotely-located areas where an onsite visit from an Energy Efficiency Consultant may be too expensive.

We can do an online energy audit for any size business, anywhere in Australia.

We have used our considerable energy auditing experiences over the last 15-years to develop special energy audit software and energy audit systems for ONLINE audits that now allow us to highly streamline our energy auditing processes. The benefits of the improvements are now passed on to you the customer in the form of lower fees.

What energy saving information will you get?

The extensive information that you will get in your Energy Audit Report will be conducted in accordance with the major requirements called for in national standards for Energy Audits - AS 3598 (Level 1 audit). Additionally, the report will be written in a format where you can implement most of the energy saving measures directly (DIY). You will get energy saving information from the following list of energy saving measures, as applicable to your site:

Electricity Meters & Electricity/Gas Bills

·    Learn how to self-check the accuracy of your electricity meter.
·    Self-check whether you are accidentally cross-wired to your neighbour and are therefore paying for their electricity?
·    Are you with the cheapest possible electricity/gas supplier?
·    Are you on the cheapest electricity/gas bill charge rates?
·    How to use your “time-of-use” energy charge rates to slash your bills?
·    Do your energy bill graphs follow energy-efficient patterns – or do they contain serious problems?

Electrical Power Factor

·    Discover how to stop low power factor from grossly inflating your bills, and overloading your main electrical cables, and burning out your electrical switches. Therefore would power factor correction save you big money ?

Miscellaneous

·   Are you paying big money for “ghost power”?
·   Are you paying big money for “standby power”?
·   Is invisible electrical leakage bumping your bills?
·   How to check your building automation systems for energy efficiency.
·   Are invisible hot joints costing you money on your main electrical circuits and are you in serious danger of electrical fires?
·   Are your property cleaners costing you heaps (in energy)?
·    Could a Combined Heat Power Plant (also known as Co-Generation Plant) save you an absolute fortune in process heating expenses?
·    Are your boilers energy efficient?
·    Are your furnaces energy efficient?

Lighting

·   Exactly how much does it costs to switch fluorescent lights ON?
·   How to quickly convert old fluorescent tubes to new, energy efficient tubes.

·   Could new, energy-efficient lights allow you to switch OFF internal, overnight security lights?
·   Could a lighting maintenance program save you money on lighting costs?

Manufacturing processes

·    Could combined-heat-power / co-generation technology produce your own electricity + save you a fortune in heating costs?
·   Are your boiler/s or furnace/s energy efficient?
·   Are your processing plants operating energy efficiently?

Energy Charts:

A bar chart of your last 2-years of electricity/gas bills showing your seasonal energy patterns and your short-term & long-term energy trends. These graphs are an ideal diagnostics tool on which we will highlight any situations for action. See example electricity graph which shows a severe electrical energy increase over a 2-year period. It indicates an air conditioning system control malfunction that cost $750 to fix and saved $20,000/annum thereafter.
