ONLINE Energy Audit Questionnaire

The read more ABOUT our Online Energy Audits refer to www.energyconservation.com.au

This Questionnaire was designed by professional energy experts and is meant to take the place of an ONSITE visit by an Energy Auditor.  This brief online process therefore makes the whole auditing system very fast and very economical.

Our analysis of the many important segments of energy-related information that you provide for us herein will enable us to analyse your energy consuming processes, and from this we will formulate your ONLINE Energy Audit Report, which will be a Level 1+  audit to AS 3598.  This will be custom-written with various energy stats, energy saving measures, tips and ideas +  maintenance saving stats + environmental stats, all custom-written specially to suit the energy-consuming services at your business site.

If you have ongoing energy efficiency problems at your business facility, our Report will advise you how to reduce your energy bills by 10% - 50% (with the % depending on the existing severity of your energy problems).

Energy Efficiency Advice for Home & Business.

The Report will be presented to you in an easy-to-read format, with plain English language, and will contain numerous colour-illustrated, energy stats and energy saving ideas to give you economical, step-by-step, energy-saving instructions that are non-technical and easy and straight forward to follow.  Instructions will enable you to DIY the many energy saving measures, and the more complex recommendations will have enough data to enable your contractors to quote you for the work.

Please proceed as follows:

Step 1:

Make a one clear copy of both sides of each electricity / piped-gas / LPG bill for the last 24-months (or as far back as you can go) and send them to us.
Please note that energy bills do not fax very clearly, therefore please post (or email) all bills to us.
(If you have bills from multiple metering points, you need only include substantial bills, e.g. those greater than say $100/annum total).

Step 2:

Complete this questionnaire and fax, email or post it to us:

5) Multiple Energy Billing

Please note: The fee for this Energy Audit is relatively low because it is based on the assumption you are a relatively simple business structure that has the one set of energy bills from the one set of meters only, i.e. we assume you have only one electricity account and one gas account. It is also assumed that all bills will be readily available to us, and will all be from the same Supply Authority (i.e. your Energy Suppliers have not changed during the last 24-months).

Energy Efficiency Advice for Home & Business.

Extra work involving the assessment of multiple sets of bills from multiple supply authorities (and chasing up missing bills etc) is time-consuming and may incur a slightly elevated fee. Therefore please be precise with all billing details as this will help minimise any additional costs that are likely to be incurred. We thank you for your valuable assistance.

Therefore: If you have multiple electricity and/or gas accounts and/or your Supply Authorities have changed within the last 24-months, please explain these below to assist the Energy Auditor in identifying your entire billing systems:

Do you have staff who complain that the effects of your air conditioning often makes them sick

Comments on any of the above:

Conversion of waste products  Due to ever-increasing anti-pollution laws, some natural waste products such as combustibles and organics materials can be expensive to dispose of according to Regulations.  These wastes include wood & nut shell etc, or organic materials such as: Garbage, or Cow & Pig manure etc, or Animal flesh and Offal etc from abattoirs etc.  If you have regular, large quantities of any of these (or similar), then consider keeping them instead to produce your own free electricity, heat and sellable by-products.

Combustibles can be burnt to drive your own steam-driven generator to produce free electricity and the hot exhaust can be used for heating for processes and/or to assist in your air conditioning etc.  Manure and animal flesh etc can be used to produce bio-gas (methane) via anaerobic digestion, which is a clean, controlled-rotting process.  The resultant gas given off can be burnt to turn a gas-fired turbine-generator to produce electricity and heating for processes etc.  In many cases, the resultant by-products such as those left-over from bio-gas production can be sold as by-products such as fertilizer etc.  Additionally, the very hot exhaust gases from the turbine can be used to save energy with your room heating or process heating systems.  We will give you more details on these in your Energy Audit report.
